Apollo 12 Recovery Mission Band, MUC James Fox,
leader, taken in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on board the USS HORNET (CVS-12) in
November, 1969. We are standing by Helicopter #66, which recovered at least 5
sets of Apollo astronauts after they had "splashed down." (#66 was to have been
put on display in the Smithsonian, but was later lost in deep water and never
recovered.)
