David's secret is that when he was active in the Navy (from 11/65 to 11/69) he was called by his first name, Sam. So If you've been looking for Sam Blakeley, you've found him! David attended the School of Music from April to November 1966, then served in Unit Bands #106 (COMCRUDESPAC) and #161 (NAVSTA Brooklyn) before his separation from active duty.

After spending many years out of music while working for AT&T, David now lives in Florida and enjoys time with his wife, Willean, their dog, and his active musical life in various local groups.

and John Ankner (tenor sax)

A few pounds heavier, but handsomer than ever!
