Ed Reigh Saxes, clarinet, oboe. July ’56 through Sept. ‘59 (“Kiddy Cruise”); 12th Naval District Band at Treasure Island, San Francisco, CA. Great musicians like (Fud) Fudoli (Tenor Sax) and Ed Budde (Bass), all under the great leadership of WO Gene Huddleston. Other friends from my home town that were Navy musicians: Jim Pierce (trumpet), Don Derner (trumpet), and Tink Shopper (t-bone).
